MYSTERY AT SCHOOL

"The School Trophy Heist: Who Stole It?" is a dynamic, role-based classroom mystery activity designed for students learning English at an A1+/A2 level. Students work in teams to solve a fictional theft that occurred at Serracines School, using suspect profiles, alibis, and written clues. While playing the role of detectives, students practice using the past simple and past continuous tenses to reconstruct a sequence of events and identify the culprit.

The activity promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and language production in a fun, engaging setting. It includes character cards, a variety of clues (including misleading ones), a final presentation of theories, and a reflection discussion.
