IRREGULAR VERBS - Cards for various games
Various games can be played with these cards to reinforce the knowledge learned. For example, they are suitable for small competitions, which can be led by the teacher or by the pupils themselves.
One could, for example, crown the "King/Queen of Irregular Verbs" by having two pupils compete against each other and answer a question posed by the teacher. The pupil who answers correctly remains standing; the loser sits down. The previous winner then competes against the next person standing next to them until only one person is left standing.
A "Stop & Swap" game is also possible with the cards. Each pupil receives a card and moves around the room to the music. When the music stops, they remain where they are and answer the question from the next person. After that, the cards are swapped, and the game continues.
