Escape Rooms are a motivating method for English lessons, where students, either in small groups or individually, have to solve various puzzles (challenges) to determine the code for opening a treasure chest (or another container). The puzzles in this Escape Room are designed for beginner English. It is recommended to allocate 1-2 lessons for this activity.
The "Save the Easter Eggs - Escape Room" is ideal for English lessons during the Easter season. It includes various tasks related to Easter. The focus is primarily on building vocabulary. Additionally, it trains reading skills, as well as speaking and writing skills (post-work).
In this puzzle, students are supposed to colour the individual eggs according to their part of speech. By the end, they can determine the required number for the puzzle.
In this activity, students should read the sentences, find the matching picture, and circle it. For weaker students, there is a differentiated version of the worksheet. In this version, individual words should be matched to the pictures.

To wrap up the Easter theme, students can present their painted Easter egg. A “Help Card” with sentence starters and phrases is provided as support for their presentation.
