The 'My Alien - Mini Project' is aimed at beginner students and focuses on the topic of 'body parts' and 'describing an alien'. Additionally, the project is designed to encourage students' creativity and enjoyment of learning English. As part of the project, students will first design or draw their own alien, then describe it (writing), and finally present it (speaking).
In the first step, students roll the dice to determine the various body parts of their alien. The 'Roll my Alien' dice sheet is available for this. (The rolled body parts are recorded on the dice sheet.) Afterwards, the alien is drawn and coloured in. A template is provided where the torso of the alien is pre-drawn. Of course, students can also be given complete freedom or even work on it across the subjects (e.g. in art lessons) to draw their alien. Next, the alien is described in writing. There is a two-level differentiated template available for writing. In the final step, the students present their alien to the class, a small group, or the teacher. A guideline for an English presentation is provided. Tip: The teacher should correct the writing before students use it to prepare their presentations.
Note: All materials are differentiated into 'Beginner' and 'Advanced' versions. I recommend using the Beginner version in primary school and only giving the advanced version to very strong students.
BODY PARTS - English BundleThe material is designed for beginners and aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic 'Body Parts' in English lessons.
