HOW TO USE
A jack-of-all-trades Every player chooses a profession (they can't be repeated). Mix the cards with the objects, the players are distributed one card for each in every round. Their task is to figure out how this thing can be used in their work (e.g. A dancer needs a book, because he must be quite good at balancing, so he can put it on the head and walk, improving his skills). One good idea - 1 point, no ideas – no points. In the end, the points are counted, the player with the most score, wins.
Sorting game Play in pairs, teams or individually. Choose several professions and related objects (mix them thoroughly). The students have to sort the things according to the profession. You can drill the following grammar structures: Doctor needs/works with/has got; possessive case and demonstratives – this is doctor's thermometer/these are teacher's books.
Odd-one-out The teacher prepares several sets with different objects, puts them in rows of 3-4 cards, the task is to find an extra card and determine the profession according to the remained ones. If this is a primary school, they can make similar chains for each other in pairs.
