This game includes two sets of 26 colour cards: one set features the letters of the alphabet with a corresponding Christmas-themed picture and word starting with that letter; the other set contains definitions of those words.

The aim of the game is to match each definition with the correct picture. There are several ways to play:

• Listening game: The teacher reads the definitions aloud while laying the picture cards face up on the table. Students listen carefully and select the matching card.
• Memory game: Place all the cards face down. Players take turns flipping over two cards. If a definition matches a picture, the player keeps the pair; if not, the cards are turned face down again.

The winner is the player who has collected the most pairs when all the cards have been matched.
