This Christmas-themed quiz game features 40 questions related to the holiday season and is designed to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience while also developing students’ cultural knowledge of Christmas traditions. The game includes a board with 40 numbered squares and a set of 40 multiple-choice question cards. The correct answer on each card is highlighted in red for ease of reference. To play, students take turns rolling the dice and moving their counters to the corresponding square on the board. The teacher selects and reads out the questions. If a student answers correctly, they remain on their square; if the answer is incorrect, they must move back one square. The aim of the game is straightforward: the first student to reach the final square (number 40) wins. In addition, a link is provided to access an interactive version of the game.

Students play a noughts and crosses-style game using Christmas-themed symbols (Santas and reindeer). It can be played individually, in pairs, or in teams, making it perfect for classroom or small-group activities. How to play: Players take turns choosing an empty square on the card. Before placing their symbol, they must say the word or use it in a sentence to practise English. When the answer is correct, they place their symbol. The first player or team to get three symbols in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins.

This resource includes 30 nine-piece puzzles, each featuring Christmas-themed images.To use the resource, the teacher should cut the puzzles into individual pieces and distribute them to the students. Each puzzle consists of nine pieces, and the students must assemble them to reveal the hidden image. Once completed, they should identify and say the corresponding Christmas-related word in English.
