The explanation game is suitable for expanding vocabulary, encouraging communication in a playful way and stimulating creative thinking.

Instructions:

1. Before the game starts, the cards should be printed, cut out and laminated if necessary.
2. The class is divided into 2 to 3 teams.
3. One team member comes forward and describes the term on the card without using the "forbidden" words. No gestures, no variations of the word and no translations are allowed when describing the term.
4. Your team tries to guess the word you are looking for.
5. If the team guesses the word before the time runs out, they receive a point.
6. After one minute, the round ends and it is the other team's turn.
7. The team with more points after a predetermined number of rounds wins.
