Card Game: Crime Edition (adapted version of the popular class game) for EFL/ESL classrooms

Description:

The popular class game has been adapted to the theme of crime and detective stories and has been called "The Midnight Society", in which the villagers/detectives have to find out who the murderers are.
The detailed instructions for the game and an accompanying PowerPoint presentation with a short background story are also included. The game can be used on the theme of Sherlock Holmes, Detective Stories or Crimes. However, it is also well suited as a game for in-between or as an end-of-year activity.
It is recommended to play the game more often with the pupils so that they learn to develop strategies and formulate arguments.
