Summery of the content
“I am so Sad” is one of the “Tales of the little Hedgehogs”. In this play the Little  Hedgehog meets his friend the Little Hedgehogess. She is not as happy as usual but very sad and doesn’t know why. He tries to cheer her up, but which lasts but a short moment. The animals of the wood also try to take away her sadness. But even their dancing and singing does not help much. That makes the Little Hedgehog feel very sad too. Through his sadness the Little Hedgehogess understands what real friendship means, because only real friends show so much sympathy for eachother.  

Number of rolls and duration of a performance
The play assigns parts to 14 children. This number can be increased by adding a few animals to the individual scenes (non speaking roles). The duration of a performance is about 15 minutes but could be prolonged by adding more (or longer) animal dances to the individual scenes.
