This original Santa poem is a fun way to bring some Christmas spirit into the classroom.

Once the kids have listened to and practised the poem, they can match up the rhyming pairs to make Santa hats.

There is also an accordion book for the kids to make to they have their own copy of the poem.

As an extension activity, the kids can put the poem in order using the sentence strips. For those of you who work with the Montessori grammar symbols, the students can also match the symbols to the sentences.
