This material contains 40 Stop & Swap Cards with Christmas-oriented questions. The vocabulary and the questions of the Beginner's Version are meant to practice the student's already existing knowledge about culture, grammar, and parts of speech. Students can especially practice the correct use of Simple Present and Simple Past. Stop & Swap Cards are a communicative method to get your students talking without too much pressure. I like to use them either as a warm-up or as a short motion element in between periods of intensive writing or grammar practice. In my experience, students tend to like it a lot and gain confidence in their speaking abilities. They can play it either by stopping and swapping with one partner at a time or by playing in small groups.
