There are 4 cootie catchers in total. They are a fun way to practise vocabulary, spelling and speaking. Cootie Catchers A & B both have the same questions, but have different winter vocabulary/numbers. These catchers are easier. Cootie Catchers C & D both have the same 'Would you rather...?' questions, but they have different winter vocabulary/numbers. These catchers are more difficult.
How does it work? -
1) Player A has the cootie catcher.
2) Player B picks a winter word. Player A spells the word aloud and moves the cootie catcher with each letter.
3) Player B picks a number. Player A can either spell the number and do it the same way as the winter word or they can count the number. (Not advisable with catchers C & D!)
4) Player B picks another number. Player A opens the number and asks player B the question.
Extra acivity: Students make their own cootie catchers.
