Gideon is hiding grain when a messenger calls him a mighty warrior. Soon he must tear down an idol, face an army like locusts, and trust a battle plan involving only three hundred men, trumpets, torches, and breakable jars. This richly illustrated comic follows Judges 6–8 through Gideon’s victory and the difficult mistake at the end of his story. Includes clear Bible references, source notes, and family-friendly non-graphic action. Suggested for ages 8–12, families, churches, and religion lessons.
