This material (an infosheet + 2 sample texts) is designed for students at an A2+ to B1 level (CEFR). It provides clear explanations, a structured overview and useful phrases to help students understand the characteristics of a blog comment and improve their writing skills. It is particularly suitable for introducing or practising this text type.

Two sample blog comments are included: one on "Growing Up" and another on "Street Art vs. Museums". The latter is designed as a word formation exercise, allowing students to practise both their writing and language-in-use skills.

I've used this material with students in both Year 8 and Year 9 (8th and 9th grade in the Austrian school system), and I've found it really useful in the classroom. Editable DOCX versions of all materials are included.
