Thanksgiving Bundle

These flashcards will help you teach your students about a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.The flashcards are good for introducing the vocabulary and the picture & word cards are good for reviewing and practising the words.

This is a fun activity to practise Thanksgiving vocabulary!There are two different sets.Set 1: There are 24 cards. The teacher can put the cards around the room on the wall, or the students can work with a pile of cards on their desk. The students use the 'code cracker' to work out what each word is and they write it on the answer sheet. There are different versions of the answer sheet so you can pick how many cards you want your students to work with. Set 2: There are 12 cards. Each card has a letter on it. These cards are more difficult as there is a sentence, not just one word. The students use the 'code cracker' to find out what the sentence is and they write it on the answer sheet.

This is a fun matching game to practise Thanksgiving vocabulary.Put all the cards face down on the table. Each player takes it in turns to turn over two cards - if they are a pair (matching words & picture) then the player keeps the cards.The player with the most cards at the end of the game, wins!

Can your student label the tasty Thanksgiving dinner?There are 2 versions of the worksheet. The easier worksheet has a list of words for the students to use to label the dinner. The more difficult version doesn't have a word list.You can use this worksheet at the beginning of a lesson on Thanksgiving to give students a reference guide. It can also  be used at the end of the lesson to test what the students have learned.There is a colour version of the worksheet too. The words can be cut out and placed/glued on the table.
