This game is great fun, highly motivating and helps to consolidate Christmas vocabulary. It also improves reading, listening and speaking skills.

How to play:

1) Shuffle all 24 cards.

2) Deal all cards to pupils in the class. Differentiation: some children get two cards. 

3) The player with the first card starts: "I have got the first card. Who has got the reindeer?"

4) The child with the reindeer is up next: "I have got the reindeer. Who has got the sleigh?"

5) The child with the sleigh on their card carries on.

6) The game is over when the last card is played.

Variation:

Time the children each time they play and see how fast they can get.
