This picture  is taken from Brown Owl's autumn poem and depicts a typical autumn scene in the forest.

The aim of the activity is to consolidate autumn vocabulary as welll as practising reading, speaking & listening skills.    

Children can either:

1) Read the sentences on their own and colour the picture.

OR

2) Work in pairs and give each other instructions:

e.g. Colour the pumpkins orange!

For an extra bit of fun, the children can use crazy colours too:

e.g. Colour the pumpkins neon orange/pink/purple etc.
