This resource includes two sets of Easter eggs with the 26 letters of the alphabet, each egg divided into two halves.
In the first set, one half of the egg shows a letter of the alphabet and the other half contains a rhyming riddle related to a word that begins with that letter. Students read the riddle and try to guess the corresponding word.
In the second set, one half shows the letter, while the other half presents the word together with a picture that represents it.
In addition, the resource includes an A–Z recording sheet that students can complete with the words they have found, placing them in alphabetical order.
How to play
After matching the pairs, students should complete the A–Z recording sheet with the corresponding words, reinforcing letter recognition, vocabulary and alphabetical order.
