





This resource includes a board with 30 numbers and 30 cards, each featuring sentences to be completed using “there is” and “there are” in the affirmative, negative, and interrogative forms.
We have also included an interactive version that can be used with electronic devices.
On the one hand, this game can be played as a traditional board game with counters and a die. In this version, students take turns rolling the dice and moving their counters to the corresponding square. They then select the matching card and complete the sentence with the correct form of there be in the present simple.
On the other hand, the game can be adapted and played following the rules of the game Kaboom. For this version, the following supplies will be needed: popsicle sticks, permanent markers or stickers to write the numbers and words, a timer, and a container such as a pencil pot, glass, cup, or small bucket.

How to Play:
This version can be played in pairs or teams. Each student, in turn, draws a stick from the pot and either says the word or forms a sentence corresponding to the number. To make the game more engaging, certain special sticks can be added with the following rules:
Winning the Game:
The winner is the team or player who has collected the most sticks when the time runs out. To increase the challenge, you can assign point values to the numbers on the sticks. The team with the highest total score at the end of the game wins.
