This resource, available in both colour and black and white, contains 40 cards featuring images of Carnival costumes designed for a guessing game called Who am I? In this game, players must ask yes/no questions to determine the costume. The questions are based on the characteristics of a person, animal, or imaginary creature that everyone can recognise. While the game works well with any group size, the larger the group, the more entertaining it becomes.
The winner of the game is the player who guesses the most costumes correctly.
SETUP:
Place the cards face down in the centre of the playing area. Each player takes a headband and adjusts it around their head. The teacher deals the cards, inserting one into each player's headband clip so that others can see it, but the player themselves cannot. Alternatively, the card can be stuck to the player’s forehead.
A timer can be used to make the game more challenging. In turns, each player asks questions to guess their costume.
