This resource includes a board with 30 numbered squares and 30 cards, each containing sentences with gaps to be completed using the following future tenses: the Future Simple, be going to + infinitive, the Present Simple, the Present Continuous, the Future Continuous, and the Future Perfect. An interactive version is also provided, which can be played on electronic devices.

The game can be played in two different ways:

Students play in pairs or teams, taking turns to draw a stick and say the word or make a sentence corresponding to that number. To make the game more entertaining, include special sticks with the following instructions:

• Boom: The player must return all their sticks to the pot.

• Super Boom: Both teams return all their sticks, and the game restarts.

• Steal 1: The player may take one stick from the opposing team.

• Exchange: Both teams exchange one stick.

• Bonus: The team keeps the stick and draws another one to play again.

• Miss a turn: The team misses their next turn.

The winner is the player or team who has collected the most sticks when the time runs out.

To make the game more challenging, you can also total the points written on the sticks. The winner will then be the team with the highest score.
