Telling the time - ENGLISH BUNDLE
The English Bundle "Telling the time" is a collection of materials on the topic of "time" for English lessons. The material is aimed at beginners.

Due to the various activities, the material is well-suited for independent learning. It is, of course, also possible to use individual materials from the bundle in regular lessons.

The aim of the material is for the students to be able to understand and actively tell the time in English.

The bundle includes:

The material covers different competences such as reading,
writing, speaking and learning vocabulary.
The material consists of 36 task cards and a template for a watch. Print out all pages (both sides, short edge) and laminate. Then the cards and watches are cut out. Punch a hole in the hands and the watch, and attach with a brass fastener. Now the students can set the requested time on their watch and then check it on the back of the card. The material is particularly suitable for open learning or remedial teaching.

Through the linguistically active use of telling the time (asking questions and giving answers), the students train telling the time in an authentic way. Game Idea: Each student receives an activity card with three times and a watch. The students must ask others for their time. If the time matches the time on their card, they can write the name of that student on their card. The first person to find all three on their card wins. By asking the time and giving answers, the students train telling the time. The material includes: •32 watches •Watches to write the time on and colour •30 Activity Cards TIP: If the watches are laminated, then they can be used over and over again!

Reading the clock in English is often difficult for many children. With this method, children can be supported in a playful way in reading the clock and showing the correct time.In addition, a template for editing in ppt format is included. Method: Print and laminate the material (I recommend printing the material on 200g paper). Then cut out the strips and the hands. Punch a hole in the middle of the clock and the hands (preferably with a hole puncher). Fix the hands to the clock with a round head fastener. Using a Stanley knife, cut a line along the gray markings. Pull the strips through the openings and you're done!
