Includes 2 sets:
Since the number of tiles in each set is quite large, you can play with a smaller number of cards (for example: 10/10/11/11).
Games:
Shuffle the cards face down, divide them equally between the players, determine who will go first. This player puts any card and calls a word (on the right part). The others look at their tiles and next goes the one, who has a rhyme/a homophone to a given word. Then everything is repeated. The game continues until someone gets rid of all the cards or the circle is closed.
Divide students into two teams, and a set of dominoes into two parts. It is extremely important that team 1 has the cards strictly from the first half of the file, and team 2 - from the second. Each team shuffles their tiles, chooses one card (it will be the start) and their task is to lay out a longer chain of rhyming words/homophones. Whose snake is longer, wins the game.
Alternative ways of using dominoes.
Number of players any. Cut into two parts and play:
P.S. After all rhyming words are in the hands of the players, ask the students to come up with 1-2 additional rhyming words to the ones they have won.
For a faster game, you can use only a part of the set (15-20 tiles).
