The pack includes the worksheets with the following topics:

• reading short vowels
• reading long vowels
• degrees of comparison
• plural nouns
• irregular verbs
• colourful template
• b/w template

The goal of the game is to knock down all the pins.

To knock down the pin, the player has to complete a task from the ball (depending on the topic): to call and write down the forms of the verb in the pins, the degrees of comparison of the adjective or the plural of the noun.

Young learners who are learning to read, just read the words and cross out the pins.

If everything is correct, the pin is knocked down. You can come up with any tasks.

Students can play individually or in pairs.

Each player has their own ball with a track. The file contains 8 tracks on each topic (colour and b/w versions + templates, children can make them for each other).

The players determine the order of the game. The first player chooses any word on the ball and completes the task, the other listens and controls the correctness. If everything is correct– the pin is knocked down, if not, the next player goes, and the first one has a chance to think the mistake over and correct it next time.

The winner is the first one who knocks down all the pins. In case of any doubts, the students can always ask their teacher.

Thanks to the empty worksheets you can create your own bowling games and use them in different languages.

The file contains 8 tracks on each topic (colour and b/w versions + templates for creating your own games with your own rules, besides, children can make them for each other).
