Cut out all the cards and laminate them (or print them out directly on thick paper). Put all the little heart cards in a bag and the large heart cards with the bugs on the floor.

The children sit around the large heart cards. Some students get a fly swatter and must be careful, because either you or another child pull a little heart card out of the bag and read the number on it. The game is best played with at least three fly swatters. The children with the fly swatter quickly clap the enamored number in the middle onthe floor. (Together the two numbers must always add up to 10. Example: If the number 4 is drawn, the number 6 must be clapped.)

The child who was fastest can now keep the little heart card and also the fly swatter for the next round, the other children pass their fly swatter on to the child next to them.
