Boom Learning – description of the learning material

This learning resource will help your students to learn about whales.

The material contains 22 Boom Cards and picture cards.

On the first ten pages you will find information about whales. Students learn about the whale’s body parts, breathing, food, predators, behavior, species, size, weight, offspring, speed, etc.

On the next 12 pages, your students will have the opportunity to practise their knowledge by completing different activities. The exercises include comprehension tasks, reflection activities, vocabulary as well as right-or-wrong and matching-together games.

To use Boom Learning in your classes, you have to do the following tasks:

Register for free on the "boom learning" page. The process won’t take long. After your registration, you can use the link guiding you to this material. Once you are logged in, you will find the material in your "Library" and you can start using it right away.

After your registration on “Boom Learning”, you can share this material with your students via “Fast Pin”. They can start playing and using the material for free.

If you like to receive an individual evaluation of your students’ results, you can simply upgrade your account (premium account with a cost between 15 and 25 dollar per year). The upgrade is not mandatory. The premium account allows you additional assignment options like creating own boom cards or setting up a virtual classroom with your students.
