Guess the room – a bright PowerPoint Presentation to activate vocabulary of the topic “My House" and related grammar in your ONLINE classes.
There are 5 various houses (only bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and a house with all different rooms).

How to use it:

• play Hide-and-seek in pairs or mini-groups, working out general questions and short answers. Choose the house, then one player "hides" in one of the apartments (guesses it). The others need to guess which one, so they ask different questions (you can make your students drill a certain pattern or let them ask any sorts of questions): Are you on the first floor? Is there a green sofa in the sitting room? Are the walls grey? Are there pictures on the walls? etc.. After each negative response, the window is closed by clicking on it. You can also close all windows at once by clicking on the door. If you guess, now it's your turn to hide!

• practice Present Continuous. For this activity, a house with different rooms is used. One says what he is doing, and the others must determine which room he is doing it in (e.g. I'm playing basketball. Are you in flat 7? Yes, I am etc). The guesser goes next.
