How to use:

• represent and teach new vocabulary;
• have discussions, asking students to sort the cards according to the following ideas:

- the clothes they like/don’t like to wear;

- what they usually wear in winter/spring/summer/autumn;

- what pieces of clothing are suitable for various places and events (in the office having an interview, at a wedding or birthday party, at the beach, at school etc);

- menswear/women’s or children’s clothes;

• work out the key grammar patterns like: Today I am wearing…/Yesterday I was wearing… etc;
• brush up the colours with young learners: The shorts are blue/A T-shirt is green. My favourite trousers are brown;
• discuss the proverb: Clothes do not make the man. What does it mean and if they agree or disagree with the statement;
• make a lapbook or an interactive notebook in the classroom, printing the cards of smaller size for your students to cut out and paste in their copybooks;
• use them as a decoration in the classroom;
• play a great number of flashcard games with your students to make them learn the vocabulary easily in a fun and engaging way.
