Get your students to practice "La Navidad" vocabulary and to review "el Presente" + "el Indefinido" with this engaging game. It has been designed to be flexible and includes both a printable and a digital version (great for distance learning).

It also has differentiated versions to make sure you can easily adapt to the different levels inside your classroom. Each version offers 28 opportunities to use Christmas vocabulary + el presente / indefinido (of regular and irregular verbs).

"La Navidad: Juego" is a great speaking activity. Students sit with a partner or small group and move along the board by following the prompts they land on. They form sentences in the target language and speak them out loud to the partner/group to earn the next space.

For extension practice, you can ask them to write the sentences down in the answer sheet provided. This can be done at the end of the activity, in a different lesson or as homework.

La Navidad Game includes:

Version A

*12 pictures – students build sentences related to the images. Here they can be creative and use more than one verb.

*16 prompts – students build sentences using the verbs given.

Version B

*12 pictures – students build sentences related to the images (same as version A).

*16 sentences with gaps – students fill in the gaps by conjugating the verbs given.
