This document contains a complex exercise. It focuses on horseshoe crabs and amoebocytes as an application of knowledge in cell biology. The tasks given in this complex exercise can also be used as an exam or mock exam in cell biology.

The exercise is tailored to require 45 min of work when done in "one sitting" and in writing.
