The purpose of this Speed Writing Portfolio is to practice writing in order to have enough time to work on the writing tasks during exams. Many of the students have problems organizing their thoughts and starting to write. You can practice this in the portfolio. A topic is given and the students are given a time frame in which they should write down everything they can think of in as structured a manner as possible. In a second step, they check what has been written and make changes / corrections. This step also practices recognizing one's own mistakes. Then the text is given to a partner and / or the teacher for correction before a final version is written. I have applied these writing exercises in many levels and also used them as exercises for learning plans. So far it has always had the desired success.
