"Playing is the way a person keeps track of his possibilities." (Quote from Ernst Lange). The motivating function of learning games is undisputed. Playing is a very human activity, popular in all cultures and ages. The players are usually prepared to show a willingness to make an effort and a desire to perform since the person playing does not perceive their efforts as unpleasant or annoying. The purpose of learning games is, among other things, to repeat and consolidate familiar learning content (vocabulary, factual knowledge) or the targeted use of grammatical structures. Sometimes, combinations of skills can be achieved through variable tasks. The board game "Fruit" can be used, for example, as follows: - for securing, revising or deepening vocabulary - to repeat vocabulary in preparation for a dialogue on the topic "Going shopping at the market - to repeat vocabulary in preparation for writing a shopping list (can also be used as mediation) - to repeat vocabulary related to a/an, like/don't like, have/has got (and negation), forming positive sentences, forming negative sentences, forming questions. Encourage creativity and communication depending on the tasks associated with the game.
