The questions are all in English for maximum language engagement. They range in complexity and challenge, both in terms of number and language. The questions also give students the chance to work with English mathematical language.The set comprises the following non-editable files:= 48 differentiated question cards, 8 per A4 (8.5 x 11) paper. Laminate the cards if possible, as they remain in excellent condition for years. To save prep time, distribute the laminated pages of question cards, rather than cutting out the individual cards, which works well for pair and small-group work in class time.= answer recording sheet - students generally use their class workbooks for working out and noting down their responses, though the sheets are definitely useful for more formal assessment purposes.= answer key - Laminate these for classwork, one per each group is sufficient. ESL EFL TESOL ENGLISH NUMBERS 0-101 WORD SEARCHES BEGINNER ENGLISH NUMBERS 0-101 WORD SEARCHES ENGLISH FOR CHILDREN NUMBERS 0-101 WORD SEARCHES TEN DIFFERENTIATED WORD SEARCHES WITH ANSWER KEYS AND NUMBER LIST Ten differentiated word searches, with each consecutive grid increasing in challenge. Students can engage with the target vocabulary, whilst also developing English language skills in general. The word searches are useful in a range of learning contexts such as starters, finishers, refreshers and sub / cover lessons.Students are able to identify which direction words are located in within the grid by referring to the arrow key. As they move through the grids, their language skills are challenged in a range of ways, from straightforward vocabulary searching to scrambled letters and number sequence questions, featuring English mathematical language. Hyphens are really important in English numbers, and the grids feature these quite clearly, in order to ensure that students can practice spelling English numbers accurately.There is a single word search per page, portrait format, with a corresponding answer grid, so that students can check their answers, or use for a little extra help if they need it. Grids 1 & 2 feature number words as prompts. Students look for them in the grid, and also write the corresponding number in digits for additional consolidation. Grids 3-5 feature numbers in digits as prompts, and students look for the corresponding words in the grids. They also write the number out in full for additional consolidation. Grid 6 has words with gaps as prompts, and students must fill in the gaps before they can search for the number. Grid 7 has scrambled words as prompts, students work out what the numbers are and look for them in the grid, also writing the number in digits. Grids 8 & 9 have number calculations as prompts, with students working out the response before they can look for the correct number in the grid, and also writing the number in words and digits. Grid 10 has a range of questions and number sequences as prompts - again, students have to work out the correct response before they can look for the corresponding word in the grid.
