This material pack is a collection of all my materials on the topic of "The United Kingdom". The materials are mostly designed for advanced beginners, but there are also a few materials (Picture + Word Cards, Dominoes, Vocabulary Worksheets, Lapbook, ...) in the package that can be used for lower levels.
The focus of the material is primarily on reading skills and on pupils acquiring knowledge about the United Kingdom. The material also covers writing skills (Writing a postcard, Writing a travel blog, Writing a social media post), vocabulary skills (various vocabulary games, Picture + Word Cards and various worksheets), grammar skills (Past Simple Worksheet) and speaking skills (Conversation Cards and Conversation Board Game). Furthermore, the focus here is also on map work.
The highlight of the bundle is a Project Work, which is available in digital or analogue form. In the course of the learning workshop, pupils learn the most important facts, sights, cities and cultural elements. New vocabulary is also learnt.

The interactive presentation is an interactive PDF that can be opened in any PDF reader. Pupils can use the PDF on a mobile phone, tablet or computer and click on various buttons. This takes them to different pages where they can find out interesting facts about the United Kingdom. The teacher can of course also play the interactive presentation on an interactive whiteboard.

The ‘The United Kingdom - Lapbook’ is designed for beginners in English lessons and offers a creative and interactive way to work on the topic of ‘The United Kingdom’. THE UNITED KINGDOM - Project WorkThe Project Work on the topic of ‘The United Kingdom’ is designed for beginners and offers a good overview of the topic. The material is suitable for independent work (e.g., open learning stations, learning counters) or for regular lessons.The material includes:The UK - Fact CardsThe UK – Interactive PresentationAnswer Booklet (+ Solution)Vocabulary WorksheetThe UK - MapUse:The texts are available in DIGITAL and ANALOGUE form. Both versions have the same structure and contain the same texts. The students are each given an answer booklet with tasks on the topic by the teacher. The tasks in the answer booklet can be solved using the interactive presentation or the fact cards.With the ANALOGUE FORM, the fact cards are simply printed out and presented or used as part of an open learning station. (I recommend laminating the fact cards before use).If the DIGITAL FORM is used, the students need either a tablet, a computer or a mobile phone. The document is opened in any PDF reader and can therefore be used without preparation. The document is an interactive PDF, which means that students can click on different buttons to access different pages. The files do not require a password; if this problem occurs, another PDF reader can often help.
