Superstitions are various signs which are interpreted in a certain way and entail all sorts of funny, stupid, ridiculous, contradictory, good or bad events.

Do you believe in various superstitions? We do! So, we've prepared a set of 56 cards (+56 unsigned cards) for working out First Conditional and not only.

Cards are divided into 2 categories: signs - if clauses (28pcs) and their interpretation - main clauses (28pcs). A set of unsigned cards can be mixed as you wish, inventing all sorts of situations and enriching the vocabulary.

How to use:

• mix two piles separately, take a card from each one and have fun with the results, e.g. If you get licked by a giraffe, you will have insomnia;
• matching activity. Make the students find the most suitable, controversial or funny pairs, according to their opinion;
• take one card from any set and finish the sentence (If I get licked by a giraffe, ... . I will have insomnia if…);
