12 families have gone on holiday ! They took photos of their adventures, and now you must read each description to find the correct photo !

The aim of the game is to read each description card and find the corresponding photo. These descriptions give clues on the location, the family members, clothes, objects... an I spy game with multiple photos !

Children review various vocabulary topics, grammar points, with various levels. Children use sentences and vocabulary in context, as well as have fun with the topic of the summer holidays !

Kids also work on guessing some words they don't understand based on the context, the photos, the clues...

There are 12 photos, with 12 cards for every level. In all, you have 72 cards ! There are various types of descriptions :

- describing the photo with there is/there are

- the children in the photos describe what they are doing or did

- some more cryptic cards will only give certain clues, a thought...

The cards go over different elements depending on the level:

• There is / there are
• be + ing
• I am with (my mom, my dad, my big brother…)
• I am at
• (to) have
• be + ing (looking, cooking, riding, hiking, throwing, sawing, visiting…)
• «during the holidays…» + past simple (I/we/he/she went, had, visited, travelled, took…)

Etc !

These cards can be used in small groups or with the whole class. The photos can be placed up on the board or on a table, even on the ground ! Children can collaborate when looking for the photos, or have a card each. You choose !
