I have who has? is a super fun game to play with the entire class and the rules are really simple.
Shuffle the cards and hand them out to your students. Usually, everyone gets one card but as there are quite a few states and capitals, students can receive two or more cards.
The game starts with the student who has the first card. They call out, “I have the first card. Let’s play… Who has Australia?” and the game continues until the student with the last card ends it.
Once the kids have understood the concept, add a stopwatch and record their time. Challenge them to try and beat their record from lesson to lesson.
This little challenge gets your students to stay attentive and prompts them to practice basic facts so that the class time improves
