Scotland - Materialpaket

This accordion book is a fun way for students to learn/practise Scotland vocabulary.There are 2 different versions. In one version, the students cut out the words and glue them under the correct picture. In the second version, the students cut out the pictures and glue them above the correct words.

These landmarks are a great way to introduce your students to some of Scotland's most famous landmarks. There are 16 different Scottish landmarks in total.

This story walk is a fun activity for a Scotland topic and it will get all of your students moving!There is a vocabulary worksheet to give the students the essential vocabulary they need to do the story walk. (There are 2 versions to choose from.)Before the activity, put the pictures up on the wall around the classroom, or even better in a larger space like the corridor or outside. Students read each part of the text and find the matching picture. They then write the letter of that picture on their worksheet. At the end of the activity, they can check their answers to find out what Edinburgh's nickname is! ('Auld Reekie' which means 'Old Smokey'. )The story walk is available at 5 different levels so you can use this activity in many different classes, or simply pick the best level for each student in your class.
