SUMMER domino - English game / Englisch Spiel für die Grundschule und Sekundarstufe 1With this domino game, English vocabulary can be practiced in a playful and fun way.Such methods are a wonderful reading exercise- especially for children in primary school.In order to make it easy for first readers, all my dominoes are created using simple fonts. Although squiggly fonts are nice, they are often didactic nonsense.Learners need to be enabled to concentrate on the text / content rather than be distracted by fancy decoration.Domino games are also great way to teach vocabulary in your ESL class and I hope your class will love my resources as much as my students do.For more creative teaching materials like worksheets, flash cards, games and activities please check my eduki shop! Simply mark the correct answer on the back and let students check after clipping the words.I love using clip cards to teach vocabulary and spelling with my ESL students. Enjoy this wonderful resource with eye-catching pictures!Here are some ideas for use in class:Pre- and post-voice to capture and consolidate the sound patterncopy the  words from the picture card dictation by the teacher, partner dictation, running dictation with additional self-control at the blackboard Stop & Swap: Learners walk through the room with their picture card, present the card to a partner and swap more and more until each learner has seen and talked about the card at least once.
