St. Patrick's Day - Materialpaket (Ireland)

This activity to practise actions will get your students out of their seats, moving around, as well as bringing some fun Irish spirit to the classroom.There are 2 levels.Level 1 - Find it!Hang up the cards around the room.Give each student a worksheetStudents read the sentences on their worksheet, and walk around the room to find the matching picture. When they find it, they write the number of  the picture next to the sentence.Level 2 - Write it!Hang up the cards  around the room. Give each student a worksheetStudents walk around the room and find the picture which has the same number as on their worksheet. They look at the picture and write down what Logan the leprechaun is doing.  There are also flashcards to help you present the actions before you start the activity. There are 2 different versions of the flashcards, infinitive or gerund.

Dominoes is a great game for practising vocabulary.How to play:You need 3 or more players.Divide the cards equally between players. The person with the start card begins. Students take it in turns to play. If you do not have the correct card to play, you miss a turn. The first person to get rid of all of their cards, wins.(A student can also work alone and try and put all the cards down themselves)

There are 26 different St. Patrick's Day words in this set, one for each letter of the alphabet.There are 2 different versions. One version has the letter of the alphabet in the corner, and one doesn't.There are flashcards which are great for introducing vocabulary and there are also picture & word cards which are helpful for practising the vocabulary.
