This set has lots of fun activities to learn about London!
This is a fun activity to practise London vocabulary! There are two different sets.Set 1: There are 24 cards. The teacher can put the cards around the room on the wall, or the students can work with a pile of cards on their desk. The students use the 'code cracker' to work out what each word is and they write it on the answer sheet. There are different versions of the answer sheet so you can pick how many cards you want your students to work with.Set 2: There are 12 cards. Each card has a letter on it. These cards are more difficult as there is a sentence, not just one word. The students use the 'code cracker' to find out what the sentence is and they write it on the answer sheet.

London has so many iconic symbols. These task cards will introduce students to 10 of them. When they have finished the task cards, you can print out the blank versions for the class. Either alone or in pairs/small groups, they can research another London icon and create their own task cards. Students can swap their task cards with each other.
