Learn key summer vocabulary beginning with the letter 's'.There are four versions avaiable: full colour, black and white, missing vowels, missing words.These wordmats can be used in lots of different ways1) I spy with my little eye … a sandcastle! (children point at the sandcastle or place their rubber on it, for example). This can also be done as pairwork.2) colour dictation - I spy with my little eye … green sunglasses!3) bingo - each child chooses three pictures and places something on them, e.g. counters/glass nuggets. The teacher draws the picture cards at random and once their three have been called, the children shout 'Bingo!'.TIP: This can also be played in groups with a bingo master for each group. 4) running dictation - flashcards are placed around the room.
