Brief interviews. This task is suitable for teenagers and adults, for group and individual lessons, as a warm up activity or the revision of different types of questions.

Students can work:

- in pairs: a journalist and a celebrity, one asks, the other answers, then they change roles, or they get to know each other, asking questions one by one);

- in mini groups: a kind of press conference where several students bombard one of them, who suddenly became a star overnight, with different sorts of questions.

Great for:

- mingling activities: students interview several partners according to their card, and then report to the class. They are free to come up with absolutely any questions (tricky, funny, personal about family, friends etc), but they have to be started with the words in the cards and be grammatically correct;

- fast finishers: make up questions and ask each other or answer them themselves while all th rest finish the main tasks.
