How well do you know your partner's routines?
This game was created for students who have just learned adverbs of frequency (always, never etc.) in connection with positive, negative, and interrogative sentences. A special focus is put on subject-verb agreement (do/does).
The material is suitable for homeschooling purposes.
1. Create video conference for 15 students.
2. Play the video
3. Give an example with two of your best students.
Create video conference for 15 students. Put the students into 5 teams of three in breakout rooms. You may add an additional student to referee.
Students need to produce +/-/? sentences in the interview situation. They use chunks from the worksheet, so that they internalize the word formation. After building sentences with "I" and "you", they must then guess how the other student answered the sentence ("he/she"). If they get the answer right, they win a point.
You may edit more routines forhttps://youtu.be/gXQhQDkhk8M future games.
You may give away a price for the winners for some friendly competiton.
After 45 minutes, your student will have used the new forms in an authentic, competetive, and fun context, and will have used the skills "listening" and "speaking".
