This fun chain game is a great way to practise circus vocabulary.How to play:Divide the cards between the students. The person with the first card begins.A: 'I have the first card. Who has the juggler?'B: 'I have the juggler. Who has the unicycle?'C: 'I have the unicycle. Who has the fire-eater?'The game continues like this until the last card.This game is a quick way to learn vocabulary and to practise pronunciation.Tip: Use a stopwatch and see how fast your students can get to the end. Each time they play, they should try to beat their record.

Dominoes is a great game for practising vocabulary.How to play:You need 3 or more players.Divide the cards equally between players. The person with the start card begins. Students take it in turns to play. If you do not have the correct card to play, you miss a turn. The first person to get rid of all of their cards, wins.(A student can also work alone and try and put all the cards down themselves)

This is a fun activity to practise circus vocabularyThere are two different sets.Set 1: There are 24 cards. The teacher can put the cards around the room on the wall, or the students can work with a pile of cards on their desk. The students use the 'code cracker' to work out what each word is and they write it on the answer sheet. There are different versions of the answer sheet so you can pick how many cards you want your students to work with. Set 2: There are 12 cards. Each card has a letter on it. These cards are more difficult as there is a sentence, not just one word. The students use the 'code cracker' to find out what the sentence is and they write it on the answer sheet.
