Our pack includes four engaging, no-prep English word search puzzles with pictures.

Because the English-speaking world is so diverse, vocabulary can vary across regions. Most terms are shared, but when different words exist, these puzzles use the ones most familiar to American English speakers. We will also be creating a new set of puzzles on this topic that use British English. Please check back later if you’re interested.

Each puzzle comes in two versions—color and black-and-white—so you can choose what works best for your classroom. Students search for hidden words in the grids and then label the matching pictures.

Across the four puzzles, learners will practice 64 unique home-related vocabulary words, such as armchair, bench, dishwasher, spoon, curtain, shelf, and pillow, among many others.

To support younger learners, a separate sheet with word banks is provided.

Answer keys are included for all activities.

Designed with flexibility in mind, these word searches are an excellent way to reinforce vocabulary in both traditional classrooms and EFL/ESL settings.
