🎭 Improv Theatre – Scenario-Based Speaking Activity 🎭    

Here's the perfect PowerPoint if you want to teach your ESL students about body language, facial expressions, gestures & associated feelings in a fun and entertaining way. Perfect for A2 & B1 level as it boosts your students' speaking confidence and vocab range through fun, creative and collaborative improv theatre scenarios. 

In small groups (ideally 3 - 4 people), students are presented with nine different scenarios that they must act out spontaneously for at least 45 seconds. Each scene encourages quick thinking, collaboration, and expression.

After each performance, the class is encouraged to brainstorm associated feelings, gestures, and facial expressions, helping learners expand their vocab range. A variety of phrases is offered in the PowerPoint.
