teacher instructions: Cut out each direct/indirect speech and hand it out to the students. (I usually laminate it so that I can use it several times.) The students then have to find their partner and are asked to discuss in pairs if they notice any differences concerning direct and indirect speech. I then collect all the ideas on the board and together we work out, how indirect speech works and what is important to remember and consider.
