This ready-to-use lesson introduces students to the topic of famous inventions and inventors through interactive and communicative activities.Duration: 80 minutes Level: B1–B2 Preparation: none – print and teachLesson OverviewThe lesson begins with an engaging quiz to activate students’ prior knowledge. This material contains 8 cards in total. Seven cards contain different role play scenarios on the theme of Inventions. One further card can be used as a template for the pupils to develop their own story.Level: B1-B2The cards can be used in different ways: The students are given approx. 10-20 minutes to divide up the roles and prepare a suitable script, which they then present.Students with a higher language level are only given a short time to divide the roles and discuss the process (max. 5 minutes). They are then asked to improvise the role play.Pupils are assigned a scenario. All the titles of the 6 role plays are written on the board.
